David Andersen Norway Sterling & Guilloche Enamel Thimble ~ Floral ~ No Mono:
This is a David Andersen, Norway, Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel Thimble in the "Floral" pattern.I recently acquired this at a local estate sale. It isclearly marked Sterling and has the David Andersen Company symbol (D-A)on the side of the thimble.It is in good condition with no surface marks or chipping to the enamel decoration, no monogram or engraving (or removal) and the exposed Sterling Silver is covered with Gold Wash. The thimble measures approximately 7/8 inches tall and has a diameter opening for the finger slightlyover 5/8 inch.
