Antique Bisque Head Doll designed and manufactured in Germany by Heinrich Handwerk and Simon & Halbig in the early part of the 20th century. The doll is 26\" tall and has a bisque head with dramatic open/close brown glass eyes with lashes, lightly blushed checks, thick feathered brows, open mouth with four upper teeth, dimpled chin, and pierced ears. She has no chips to her earring holes, no rubs or scratches to her face, and no hairlines, chips, cracks, repainting, or repairs to her bisque head. She has a long brown human hair wig styled in curls that go around her head. She is marked on the back of her 1/2
Her original antique body is wood composition with ball joints and is in wonderful condition considering it\'s age. Her body has mostly original finish with original varnish. She has all fingers and toes with no repairs to her hands or feet and in wonderful original condition. She does have a few cracks in her arms. She strung very well and can hold a pose easily. There have been some old repairs to the body as seen in the photographs.

The following clothing will be included free of charge. She was dressed in these clothes when she arrived. The clothing was dusty and dirty, so everything was washed, but not ironed. The clothing includes a reproduction of an antique dress which does have some age. The long sleeved dress is constructed from a mint green fabric with three rows of pintucks at the bottom of the skirt, lace going down the front, and lace trim at the neck and cuffs. It buttons in the back with white pearlized buttons. A matching mint green ribbon waist sash completes the dress. Her undergarments include a white cotton slip with pintucks around the bottom of the skirt and is then trimmed with lace, matching underblouse that fastens in the back with white pealized buttons with matching lace, and white cotton pantaloons with three rows of pintucks then trimmed in lace.
