"Walpole Tailors" is a charming building introduced by Department 56 in 1988 as one of the Merchant Shops for the Dickens' Village collection. It was retired in 1993. This lighted porcelain building has a white stucco facade with brick trim and brick showing through in places. It has a wonderful blue roof and front door. There's another door on one side and the indication of "wrought iron" fencing on the other. This is a hand-painted piece, thus there may be normal imperfections and variations in coloring. It comes in the original box & sleeve and has been carefully stored indoors in a smoke-free home.
