PNP Trains, who are we? We are a husband and wife team (Paul and Paula Pellegrino) that decided to take a passion in model trains and make it into a small online business. We are located in the Pacific Northwest, one of the most beautiful train regions of the United States. Paul has been a train enthusiast for well over 35 years. As a teenager, he started custom painting, detailing, and kit bashing his own items. Paula came into the train pastime by marriage and it took a few years before she fully understood Paul’s excitement for the hobby. During our 15 years together, we have been attending train shows and selling items at online sale sites. In the past few years, we have been thinking of starting our own online train business to satisfy Paul’s zeal to provide and teach custom painting to young and old at heart. 2011 was the year that this dream came true.
