.IT MEASURES 40cms OR15 1/2\" IN LENGTH ..I CAN ADD AN EXTENDER IN ALMOST IDENTICAL LINK IF YOU WOULD LIKE AT NO COST ATsaleEND... I used to wear it this length though with the suspension drop.. as my neck is the only THIN part left on me these days.

It has a suspension drop where thebook locketfob hang from and it does up at thelast link in the chain above the locket so no suspension drop or shorter length to use the drop..

The clasp is afob swivel closure that works perfectly . and is marked RFSand Co ..reknown for HIGHgrade gold fill.. they used MUCHmore gold than the industy standard and this chain is a testament to that .. the locket is from England and i had it fitted to the drop years ago. It is marked T &H and they made 18ct rolled gold and 18ct gold jewellery.

sizing: thefob lockt has lovely scrollworkon the front 1.8cm or 3/4\" long by 1.3cm or 1/2\" wide and is a nicedepth ..it has its original bezel inside withwhat looks like fine glass.. and the chain links measure app 4mm in width the links are SOLIDNOTHOLLOW .

Condition: the chain is in beautiful antique condition..the book locket closes with a little click and has a fabulous strong hinge.. it presents beautifully from the front but the back has a little age wear.. but not visible when being worn
