Donald Duck #313 Auto Model Art 16" Wide Disney Pat Block Watercolor Original For Sale

Here is an especially DETAILED and LOVELY piece for any big fan of Walt Disney's DONALD DUCK. This is a 16" original model painting featuring Donald and OLD #313, Donald's famous clunky little red car. The #313 stands for Donald Duck's BIRTHDAY of Friday, March 13. The artist, Donald Duck regular PAT BLOCK, actually share this same birthday with Donald! This model sheet of Donald and his red jalopy was painted last year as part of a Disney project. It is signed and dated by the artist. It is in PERFECT CONDITION with no pin holes or corner bends. Drawn on high quality, stiff illustration board and painted with imported Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors, the piece will out last us all and won't fade in time. The artwork has tons of nice scenery detail in the background and is really a snappy looking piece. The car and Donald are fully inked and well rendered. Block was experimenting a bit with the size of #313 and there are three images of Donald and the car, each with a slightly different scale. This ORIGINAL ART is accompanied by a copy of DONALD DUCK & FRIENDS # 360, which sports a cover by Patrick featuring DONALD , UNCLE SCROOGE and GLADSTONE GANDER. The book is signed inside with a sketch of Donald by Patrick. Patrick and Shelly Block have drawn and written stories and covers for Disney's comics around the globe, and have worked as concept artists for the gaming industry.
