An 'activated' original hero component to a smoke grenade used by Mega City One’s urban cops, the Judges, specifically for the sequence in which Judges Dredd and Anderson attempt to evade the Ma Ma clan by dropping one of these gas bombs into a dangerous stairwell. The hero grenades housed gas canisters during the scenes and emitted smoke but after the moment was finished the empty can was disposed of, and the lack of handle signifies the grenade has been ‘detonated’. Made from metal and painted black and green, it remains in good condition with scuffs to the paint through production use and measures 11cm (4.25”) tall.

This prop is an original asset used in the production of the 2012 film Dredd. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and DNA Films. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
