A Matching Set of 4 Knives in the Chrysanthemum pattern by William B. Durgin Silversmiths, late-19thC. These are the highly sought-after 9-1/2" Dinner Knives with "Old French" Blades. These are scarce, early production pieces with beautiful detail and workmanship. The handles are marked Sterling and have a monogram on the upper handle (one side). Beautiful patina with minor, age-appropriate wear. The Blades have been replaced, and marked Gorham, Stainless, with a star below.
