1950s Vintage Floating Aurora Borealis with 1/20 12K gold-filled pendant cap and chain. The chain is stamped and the pendant cap has been tested.

Dainty hand-blown glass filled with cut Swarovski crystals that have been treated with a special, non-soluable coating known in the industry as an AURORA BOREALIS FINISH. This finish gives the crystals a FLASHY RAINBOW-COLORED GLITTERING STARLIGHT AFFECT. The glass gem is most-likely filled with mineral oil or glycerin (standard for vintage floating-style gems) which remains clear to this day and MAGNIFIES THE BRILLIANCE OF THE AURORA BOREALIS CRYSTALS. The liquid inside the glass gem allows the CRYSTALS SWIM AND SWIRL AROUND FREELY…FASCINATING and MESMERIZING. This is why these types of pendants are called FLOATING AURORA BOREALIS.
