Wonderful pair of sterling silver Christmas bells earrings by Damaso Gallegos from Taxco, Mexico.This is a book piece. The brooch of the same design ofbell and a bowby Damaso Gallegos is shown in the book on the page 184 \"Silver Masters of Mexico\" by Penny C. Morrill.This vintage piece was made by this wonderful silversmith in 1940s.On top of the bell is a small bow with a ball in the middle.The bells ring when moved. It is earrings are \"screw on\" type.The hallmark is inside of the bow (see photo).Each earring is 1\" tall and 1\" wide. The bells are½” in diameter.Both earrings together weight 9.18 grams.Great condition, no signs of damage or repair.
