This sale is for a Danbury Mint 1966 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY COUPEin 1:24 scale. This model is gorgeous, and in excellent condition! While it is possible that this one has been displayed, it is certainly difficult to tell from the EXCEPTIONAL condition it is in! It is THAT nice! The clear protective vinyl strip is even still in place over the rear Corvette script! The deep Laguna Blue paint isglossy, and looks outstanding! There is the barest hint of some trace amounts of faint paint rash here and there, but it is very difficult to see, except upon extremely close inspection, and only in the harshest lighting. The dark blue paint hides it very well, and it does nothing to detract from the beauty of this magnificent car! The paint looks fantastic, and there are no notable flaws! Both doors open and close without issue, and the doors will remain closed. The hood also opens and closes without issue. All of the chrome is in excellent condition, and really shines. The front wheels turn and pivot with the steering wheel, and the tires and chassis are innice condition. The complementary medium blueinterior is in outstanding shape, and looks new! And the wooden steering wheel is a very nice touch! The windows are clean and clear. It is a very clean car, both inside and out! All of the parts are intact and function as they should. There is nothing broken or missing from the car.Some of the really neat features on this car are the opening gas cap, andthetelescoping antenna, as well asthe flip up headlights, just like on the real car! Very cool!! The details are lovely. The Corvette scripts and emblems are all in like new condition, and are just exquisite! This car displays beautifully, andit is one of the prettiest Danbury Mint Corvette diecasts! It really is a MUST HAVE! These VERY RARE Corvettes can get quite expensive, and are getting harder to find, but here is a chance to own one at a very reasonable price!And this one is priced to sell!It comes in its original box, with its protective styrofoam., and with the Danbury Mint Certificate of Title, and the Unpacking and Care Instructions.
