Mr. Jack Adler, long-term Vice President of Production for DC Comics throughout the silver/bronze era, painfully recounted to me the tale of himself and fellow DC artist Jerry Serpi cutting up thousands of pages of original comic line art and production art. He said it broke his heart to destroy all that beautiful artwork; But back over a third-of-a-century ago, nobody foresaw the future value of such exclusive pieces of comic-book history! This type of itemallowed the editors to make sure the alignment and all the colorregistration was just right, even in the advertisements, for all of the front and the back, and on the cover interiors, for this comic. There are no holes in the spine area, of course, and it has a broad white border around all edges, and does include the entire back cover, and all the adsfilling the interior portions. I hope that the mediocre scan will convey that this is a great looking showpiece, which would be especially impressive framed. Regrettably, our sad scanner makes the background colors appear wavy --when all colors are actually rich and uniform, and extremely bold thoughout.It has been stored safely for the decade-plus I\'ve owned it in archival mylar with an acid free backing-board, and will be sent to the buyer well-protected within thesesame desirable preservation materials, to remain in remarkable condition for future generations.As Usual: LOW ASKING PRICE AND !
