Daughters American Revolution - 1934 Manual Book Citizenship Dar 9th Ed. - Rare:
You are offerding on the Manual of the United States for Citizenship and the Supplement to Manual of the United States for the Information of Immigrants and Foreigners. These are two related booklets.
The Manual is published by the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution in 1934. This is the ninth english edition with greetings from Edith Scott Magna, President General and Address of Welcome from Anne Rogers Minor. Compiled by Elizabeth C. Barney Buel, this is 72 pages long.
The Supplement contains information provided by the Department of Labor about becoming a citizen but is published by the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution.
Both of these are in good to very good condition with some creasing but no major rips or stains. Approx 7" x 4.5". This is a great find for historians of the DAR, American history, citizenship or immigration.
These books have been in our family for decades. They likely belonged to a family member who worked for the US Immigration Service in the 1940's.
