Debolt made casting kits years ago scaled from an original Perkins vertical side shaft windmill engine, this is the result done nicely from back in the day. These are one of the nicest, unique model engines one could ever own...just too cool. My buddy and I had it running a few months back, runs pretty sweet. Please if you get it have some mechanical engine aptitude, best to know something bout hit miss engines, or it\'s NOT that hard if you put some focus to it. Any old neat model engine requires a little learning curve getting to know it. I got this from the original owner years back when I was looking for one of the actual REAL engines, same thing, full size. The originals are very hard to find, even these models are fairly scarce. Anyway, I had a chance to get this and I did!!! About a month later I was able to secure / find the REAL ONE (couldn\'t believe it) and ended up with 2. so I\'m letting this model go. IF you ever wanted one of these here is your chance. You see one for sale every once in a blue moon, these are just one of those engines you want to keep and again if I didn\'t have a REAL ONE I wouldn\'t be selling this one.
