The gold rim is showing wear and thinning - please see pictures. There is also a hairline crack on the back side - also see the pics. I do not see the crack on the front side of the piece but that doesn\'t always mean anything - I did take close pics of that area also. There are no markings on the back except for West Germany 442. This beautiful piece measures 9.5\" long, 8.25\" wide and 2.25\" deep. It is really a stunning piece!
