Condition is everything with fragile collectibles. Buyers deserve to know that misrepresentation is a major problem in this category, especially the items with low starting offers.Don\'t be fooled by the meaningless response system where everyone has 98% or better. I\'d advise to avoid listings that use stock photos or only show the box because department56 should never be purchased sight unseen. In addition, the buyer protection policy doesn\'t cover any of the 2-way shipping losses on a standard return. It\'s unfortunate that most people will ignore this message, only to realize its truth. Hopefully I\'ve opened a few eyes to the advantages of dealing with a five star dept56 specialist.
