What I am selling is different. There have been other folks selling these on, I don?t know how they are so nice and pretty. Mine are not printer/copier fresh, butstepped on, rubbed, torn, folded, and creased, just as I stuffed them into myALSE pack.

I liberated these leaflets somewhere around 28 FEB 91 atan Iraqi logistics base south of Safwan Iraq on Highway 1. The area was in aKuwaiti military city, occupied by the Iraqi Army on 3 August 1990. I wentinside the basement of a Kuwaiti Military Barracks (east side of Highway) toreconnoiter it for the use by our Battalion. In the basement of one of thebuildings we came across these leaflets. I had an extra rucksack in my M1009and filled it with leaflets. I was assigned tothe 3rd ArmoredDivision at the time. I only found 5 different types. I also picked up some sort of roll of mailinglabels, you get one. Here?s thekicker: I havealso posted a?cleaned? copy of my Battalion?s war souvenir approval paperwork for me thatshows the propaganda leaflets.

I don?t think there are many of these around. After some folks and I cleaned them out, the12th Engineers blew the building due to our ?remodeling? andeviction of the previous tenants.

Side note: In 1991 I thought it was finished. Our oldest boy celebrated his 21st birthday as a UH-60 crew chief/gunner in Balad, Iraq 14 years later.
