Die Bibel oder die Ganze Heilige Schrift des alten und neuen testaments nach Dr. Martin Luthers...Antique leather-bound Bible published in 1847 in Philadelphia by Mentz & Rovoudt. German language. Measures approximately 5\" x 7 3/4\" x 3\". Some cover wear, leather clasps are damaged, there are a few spine splits, and the front hinge is broken. Title page indicates a publishing date of 1847, although the New Testament title page indicates 1845. There is a hand-written letter dated 1839 at the front endpaper (please see photos).
