The name of this plane was inspired by Chuck Yeager's sweetheart. The red rudder denotes the 363rd Fighter Squadren. While flying this Mustang Yeager shot down an ME 262 Jet on November 6, 1944.

Designed to meet an urgent British requirement for fighters for the Royal Air Force, the P51 was first flown on October 26th, 1940.
