This Ike jacket was purchased by a good friend of mine in 1996 from a noted Airborne author and itis as purchased. The Ike jacket has one tiny moth hole on the right sleeve andoutside of that its near mint. This Ike is named to a paratrooper who did the Normandy D-Day drop and tthe Holland Sept.17th 1944 drop. The veteran served as operations Seargent for F-Company in Normany, Holland and at Bastogne, and Germany. The jump wing has two battle stars on it and the US Collar brass and the F Company brass were domed by the Vet.The dog tags are the Seargents stateside tags but these are the ones that came with the Ike when purchased.offer with confidence this is a neat Airborne piece of WW2 combat history. The name of the Veteran and some supporting research along with the Dog Tags goes with the group.PS I Took the top ribbon rack off so I could list it I put it in the pocket.
