Dr Pepper Bottle Cap Label Acl Soda Bottle From Corpus Christi Texas Tx 1955 For Sale
9 1/2" tall aqua glass machine made crown top ACL painted label soda bottle. DRINK DR PEPPER 10 2 4 in bottle cap on front and back and both shoulders in red & white color. The base is embossed DR. PEPPER BOTTLING CO. CORPUS CHRISTI, TEX. 55, which indicates this bottle was made in 1955. This is the first one of these "bottle cap" style Dr Pepper bottles I have seen with a city embossed on the bottle. I think this style was only used for one year. Bottles from South Texas are hard to find. No chips cracks bruises, some small scratches on the glass and the label is a little faded. The label would rate 2 Good Condition by the Bates ACL Grading Scale. Shipping will be by Priority Mail. Will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
