Up for sale is a nice 2 sided metal flange sign that advertises "Dr. E.L. Welbourn's Celebrated Vegetable Medicines Sold Here" on both sides. HOW MANY EARLY FLANGE SIGNS HAVE YOU SEEN FOR HUMAN MEDICINAL PRODUCTS? - Not many if any I imagine. The sign was made by "The Meek & Beach Co. Coshocton, O". as indicated on the bottom right. The front side is in nice condition with some paintloss primarily on the flange edge and under the 'S' in the word 'medicines' and the back is in decent condition with some paint chipping. The flange itself is sturdy and unbent. This sign measures approx. 13" wide x 6 3/8" tall.
