DETAILS: We are listing this estate fresh antique hand painted set of footed dessert cups or saucer champagnes with matching under plates decorated by Ambrosius Lamm with a Reserve of $1500.00 for the set. This set includes six cups and six matching saucers for a total of 12 individual pieces.

The exterior of each cup has a continuous hand painted frieze depicting lovers and musicians in fancy 18th century dress in formal gardens. The rims of the saucers and the stems and interiors of the cups have iridescent maroon colored backgrounds that are decorated with raised gilt beading and leaves. The centers of the saucers all have fancy raised gilt three letter monograms.

MARK/SIGNATURE: Each saucer has an appropriate blue painted mark of a lamb above Dresden 170.M. along with a gold painted flower covering the mark of the manufacturer of the blanks.

Each cup has similar marks, but the numbers underneath the word “Dresden” vary.

CONDITION: Each piece in the set is in very good to excellent original condition free from chips, cracks, scratches, stains, gold wear, damages, or repairs.

These will all display as in excellent condition.

MEASUREMENTS: Approximate maximum diameter of each saucer is 5 1/8 inches. Each cup is about 4 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches diameter at the top rim, and 2 inches in diameter at the foot.
