Ducati : Other For Sale1991 Ducati 907ie w/ 26k milesNO MINIMUM - this will sell. This has been a great bike for me but I haven't ridden it in 5 years and barely for the 5 years before that.It was running when I parked it in the back of my warehouse in 2009 but I tried to jump it and it didn't start. The battery is definitely done and the fuel is probably old but looks and smells normal. No guarantees on how much work it will take to bring it back to top condition.SOLD AS IS - it does not startI've got all the books, tools and service history. I've always run a nice Corbin seat and LOUD D&D aftermarket pipes but I'm also including the original seat and pipes. It's always run with the Ferracci chip and I'm pretty sure that I have the original chip as well but no guarentees.I'm not a racer and this was driven like a grandmother back and forth down the 110 to my former job. Well, not exactly like a grandmother but you get the point.IT HAS NEVER BEEN DOWN WITH THE KEY IN THE IGNITION.But I've dropped it on both sides while moving it around the garage so both front turn signals are broken and there is a scratches on the lower right front which I once started to repair but never got further than dripping some resin on top of the fiberglass (minor crack).I've also got a brand new air cover for the other side but don't know why -- I must have been really picky back in those days. The only other problem items that I can see or think of are that it seems the front strut seal leaked (not uncommon for a bike stored this long), the battery (mentioned earlier) and the kick stand isn't on the bike but I do have it -- don't remember why I took it off.
Come by and take a look - my warehouse if off of Rosecrans and Van Ness.On Jan-16-14 at 16:11:51 PST, seller added the following information:
I checked with the California DMV and the bike was put on PNO (planned non-op) back on 7/14/2010 so there are no problems if you want to re-register it in California. NO PAST DUE DMV REGISTRATION.
