For sale is a Durgin French Antique pattern sterling silver ladle. French Antique was introduced in 1870 and is usually plain, but sometimes engraved as this one is. The ladle has a nice bird engraving on the handle, similar to some other makers Japanese style patterns. The ladle measures about 12\" long and weighs 142 grams. It does have a monogram on the front that reads \"Pearl from Sister Lottie\". It was probably a birthday or holiday gift. There\'s a few very light dents in the bowl that are difficult to see in person and even harder to picture (so they\'re not pictured). Some light tarnishing. Being well over 100 years old it has been used at some point and shows some wear. Use pictures for condition. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please ask.
