ENGRAVED DUTCH 833 SILVER OCTAGONAL KEEPSAKE BOX

You are offerding on a little octagonal Dutch silver keepsake box with engraved designs on all four sides and the lid. This little box dates to 1859 (date code Z) and is Dutch with the Minerva head duty mark, lion passant with a numeral 2 beneath (silver standard .833) and a maker's mark that appears to be BM over 90, though it is worn on the left side and the numeral may not be complete. The box is 1-1/2" tall and 1-1/2" by 1-3/8." It has a few dents to the base and the hinge is broken. The lid fits perfectly onto the box, however, so no harm.
