Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower (1890 –1969), five-star general in the United States Army and the 34th President of the United States, from 1953 until 1961. During World War II,Eisenhower served as Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in Europe. Asigned noteon engraved White House stationary to Lowell Eisenhower (distant cousin/Lowell's grandfather Samuel and the President's grandfather Jacob were brothers). Thestationary is folded and slightly creased. The paper is actually a very pale green color. It is discolored and marked along the edges with old glue.There is some shiny residueof the old glue/perhaps tape along the from the archives of the noted Raab Collection. A Letter of Authenticity will be provided.
