20 June 1945 ''New York Herald Tribune'' the day after Eisenhower was made an honorary citizen of New York to record crowds. Headline reads, ''Eisenhower Cheered by 4 Million in City; Welcome Sets New High on 37-Mile Parade'' with a picture of the huge crowd. Paper is 20pp. long and includes pictures of the ''E'' day parade. Newspaper, measuring 16.5'' x 23'', shows toning throughout, small chipping and tearing along edges and some foxing on the front page. Overall in very good condition.
