Dyottville Glass Works Quart Gi-37, Blue Aqua, Philadelphia, Pa Historical Flask:
Quart Dyottville Washington & TaylorHistorical FlaskUp for sale is this nice GI-37 Quart Dyottville Glassworks Washington and Taylor Historical Flask. Not the deepest aqua color that we've ever seen, but better than what you often see in these. Nice sparkling glass with some nice bubbles and crudity, including a neat looking fold in the glass on the Taylor side and a small frit of crude glass melted into the body near the fold on that side that we think adds to the charm of the flask. Near perfect mint condition, sparkling!
Sheared and fire polished lip with smooth base. Probably dates to sometime between 1860 and 1880, we're guessing. Please see photos and let us know if you need more or need more information. Measures about 8 inches tall, and 3 and 1/2 inches across at the base.
