E. Garcia Sterling Bit:
A beautiful E. Garcia Sterling and bronze finish loose shank bit in excellent condition. I have had this bit for about 15 years and used lightly. The shanks are beautifully detailed although I do not know what the style of this bit is but it is very attractive, that's why I bought it! The bit measures a 5" mouth piece, copper inlay on the bars, 1 1/4" fancy engraved hooded copper low port with tongue relief with a copper roller, 7 1/2" shanks. E. Garcia maker's mark is found on the inside right purchase. The color of this bit is unique as the bronze finish is a very soft color, not a harsh metal bronze. There are no dents, dings or scratches. My items I am selling are priced fair and priced less than can be found on the current market.
Eduardo Garcia is noted for his excellent workmanship on spurs, bits and other equestrian items. He is, however, not connected in any way with the famed G.S. Garcia and family from Elko, NV. Eduardo Garcia lived and worked in San Ysidro, California. He was born on October 13, 1923 and passed away a few years ago. Eduardo Garcia's pieces are distinguished by the maker's mark E. Garcia. His bits and spurs that are stamped or signed with E. Garcia are rapidly becoming collector items.
