E. Howard 8\" Marine Clock for The Foxboro Co. Foxboro, MA. The clock is in very fine unrestored condition. The nickel plated case is beautiful. The 8\" black dial is in fine condition. The hands are untouched original. The bezel is 9 1/2\" in diameter and the back flange is 9 3/4\" in diameter. The signed E. Howard No, 69 nickel plated and damascened movement has been serviced and is in fine condition, keeping excellent time. All of the other Foxboro marine clocks that I have seen to date have been of much lower quality than Chelsea or E. Howard marine clocks. This example has a very heavy cast and finely nickeled case, beautifully finished black dial with white numerals and hands and, of course, the top quality E, Howard nickel damascened movement. This is the best quality Foxboro marine clock that I have ever seen. Hicks Antique Clocks
