Eapg Ruby Stained Kings Crown Tooth Pick Holder - Adams & Co Circa 1880:
The Kings Crown pattern was made by Adams and Company of Pittsburgh PA circa 1880. The pattern was continued by The United States Glass Co of Pittsburgh, PA after their merger in 1891. The original name of the pattern was XLCR., Excelsior. It is also known as Blue Thumbprint; Ruby Thumbprint and as Ruby Thumbprint-Clear. This toothpick holder is 2-3/4 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter at the rim. The bottom rim is also 2 inches in diameter and shows a good deal of wear. The band has been ruby stained and engraved with the initials M. D. G. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. Shipping includes insurance. (NEW#5-51)
