EARLY 19th CENTURY POLISHED STEEL 2 PILLAR WING NUT CORKSCREW

Up for sale is a very nice antique two-pillar wing nut corkscrew. It is made of polished steel and dates from the early 19th century. It is in extremely good original unrestored and unfiddled with condition with very little signs of wear or corrosion. It has a very nice dark colour and patination and the wire helix still retains its original point. It measures 17.1 cm (6 ¾ inches) long when closed and 19 cm (7 ½ inches) long when open.
