Early Chinese Tibetan Ming Dynasty Buddha Deity Silk Thangka Shrine Painting For Sale
EARLY CHINESE TIBETAN MING DYNASTY BUDDHA DEITY SILK THANGKA SHRINE PAINTING
AMAZING ASIAN ART PAINTINGS ESTATE sale
Hi everyone, thank you for having a look at my sales. If you have been following my sales over the past couple months you will know I have been selling a large and important Asian arts estate collection. Listed this week is well over 200 hundred Asian paintings from the estate, all being sold with s!
I was told many of the paintings listed this week were deaccessioned (sold) by the Pennsylvania Museum of Fine Arts some years ago to raise money which is where the collector purchased them from. The Paintings were found in one of the large closets at the estate were I have been told they have been stored for a good number of years, and have not seen the light of day in some time. I really know nothing about any of the pieces listed, or about Asian paintings in general. It would be Well Worth your time to look into the major amount of paintings I have listed from the estate, there really could be anything here, and some great treasures to be found!
I DO WISH EVERYONE THE VERY BEST OF LUCK WITH THE sales!

Up for sale is a Very Rare Early Silk Thangka Buddha Shrine Painting. The Painting is very finely hand painted throughout. The Thangka has an interesting design with large central buddha, along with deities and mythical creatures throughout. I was told the Thangka would conservatively date to the Ming Dynasty period, or could possibly be even earlier. The Thangka shows its early age with wear throughout as you can see. But overall for its age the Thangka is in good original condition with no major losses, or repairs. The Thangka displays beautifully measuring 23 inches tall by 16 inches wide. I was told at the higher end sales such examples have been receiving some major interest and selling for very substantial amounts recently, so it is well worth looking into the Thangka's value. A very fine and rarely seen piece.
