I have for your consideration a very rustic folk art primitive wooden box.

The lids back hinges are still there, how ever one of them is bent (see photo)

When the lid is open it tends to slant a bit, but is fixable

There is an old key lock on the front but the key is long gone

Its covered with some old red and black design paper that is peeling

There use to be leather handle on each side of the box, but no longer :(

Metal black band going around the rim of the box.

Dovetailed type of corners

No odors of any kind. Comes from a smoke-free home

Like I said, this box has some issues, but so folky and charming with so much character :)
