Up for grabs is a very rare, Named and ID’d interwar-WW2 era Engineer Officer’s Uniform Jacket Grouping with Documents and Photos.

This officer’s service began in the 1930’s when the 76th was just a small reserve Division in Connecticut. He lived in Hartford and served as a engineer for the city. While with the 76th Division, he was a 1st Lt in the 301st Engineer Battalion.

This uniform comes complete with Essayons buttons (the bottom one is non-cutout), VERY rare matching screwback 301st DUIs, and all matching US/Engineer Officer insignia with early clutch back fasteners. It was privately tailored in Connecticut and is named to this officer in the pocket. The 76th Division Patch is a rare interwar felt variant. The American Defense Ribbon was found at the estate and placed above the pocket.
