E.C. Powell 8' 6" 4wt 3/2 Bamboo Fly Rod

The only marking on this rod is the E.C. Powell Maker Marysville, CA stamp on the reel seat.

This rod was likely professionally refurbished due to the pristine quality and clean cork. The hardware should be original.

Most likely a solid bamboo rod as it has no patent number. The weight is 4.5 ounces. Each section is 34 3/4 inches long. All very straight. Female ferrule inside diameter is 9/32". Mid section female is 3/8". The tube does not appear to be original.

Overall this rod is in excellent condition with a faster action compared to most cane rods, it would be a fine all purpose trout rod matched with a 4 or 5wt fly line. The refinishing of the rod was done by an true craftsman that knew how to build rods.

FedEx Ground or Home Delivery is our standard method of shipping, and we charge a flat rate of ten dollars ($10.00 USD) for addresses within the Lower Forty-Eight United States.

If, however, time is tight and you need things in a hurry, we offer Overnight shipping for a flat rate of $50.00 USD. Express 3-Day is $15.00 USD and 2-Day is $35.00 USD.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $35.00 USD.

Shipping to Canada is $25.00 USD FedEx ONLY.

All other international shipping is: $60.00 USD + Duties and Taxes* **.

* International orders are not subject to US taxes. However, it is possible that import duties will be applied by the country of final destination. The recipient is responsible for payment of all applicable duties, taxes and other fees. Gift orders may be assessed duty depending on the country. Please contact your local customs office for information on duties, taxes and restricted items.

** Marking international shipments as "gift," "sample," and/or entering a lower value than that of the retail price of the items we ship on a commercial invoice is illegal and could result in the revocation of our export license and/or a penalty of up to 6 months in prison and a $10,000USD fine. Leland Upgrade has the best and most accurate photos and condition assessments on , so you can be confident that what you receive is exactly what you offer on. However, it's impossible for us to tell the complete history of the items we receive. With all this in mind, Leland Upgrade will accept returns within 14 days of the date you receive the item. Within this window, we will issue you a 90% refund if the item is not what you expected, unless for some reason the item arrives damaged or not in the condition as described, in which case we will issue a full refund. Leland Upgrade reserves the right to refuse a refund if we find that the item returned to us is damaged or is not in the same condition as it was at the time we shipped it to you. We keep this at our discretion, but bear in mind that you're our fishing buddy. Sometimes graphite fly rods break, so that is why we offer a limited Leland 18 Month Warranty on Sage, Scott, & Winston rods.
