Eerie #1 Warren Publishing 1965 First Printing Extremely Rare 9.6 Nm:
$4,450

Sold as is: Eerie #1 First Printing (Warren, 1965)Condition:NM. This is a near-perfect copy in PRISTINE condition! There were only 400 - 500 of these printed. Note that CGC does not currently encapsulate this small-format magazine, so only "raw" copies are available, but this NM specimen will surely meet the demands of the serious collector chasing it down. *NOTE: The bald-headed man on page 18, panel 5 is Not Visible in the solid black area (an indication that this is a first printing). All art work is nicely centered on pages. The lines on the roof of the house on page 1 are distinct (these lines are very broken and almost non - existent on one well-known counterfeit issue) & very broken and vague on the 2nd print...(SEEPICS - THEY TELL ALL)This issue is for all intents and purposes an ashcan; it never reached newsstands, and only a couple of hundred copies were printed to secure copyright to the title and logo. It's possibly the most difficult Warren item to find, so don't pass this one by! Overstreet NM- 9.4 - 9.6. This from a comic store owner familiar with Overstreet guided me with that.Only 400-500 printed; Black and White; Small, 5-1/4 wide X 7-1/4 high;Evenly Trimmed pages. This is definitely a RARE offering at one of, if not the HIGHEST GRADES seen! (AGAIN, STUDY PICS) Beautiful 9.6 NEAR MINT copy with White Pages!IT'S A SECOND OWNER MAGAZINE. SEEING THE LIGHT OF DAY IN ALMOST 34 YEARS. I purchased this magazine from a reputable source; a very long time dealer/collector in monster magazines of all the different publishers, he has also written two articles in 2 of the Monster Magazine Collector’s Guides. However, in respecting his privacy (both professional and personal), I’m not at liberty to mention his name so you would have to take my word on that for what it’s worth. THIS COMIC DISPLAYS ALL THE PROPER MARKINGS FOR THE FIRST PRINT. (NO BLUE STAPLES, as on the second print). All staples are clean and evenly spaced.THIS BOOK IS IN XLT + CONDITION. It has been well stored. LIKE IT AGAIN. THIS BOOK IS FIRST PRINTING AND ALMOST NON - EXISTENT! (Check around) It also comes in it’s own custom stiff cardboard, exact size custom slip case. Again, SEE PICS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. WILL SHIP VERY WELL PACKAGED. Again, this is a very SERIOUS Collectors Issue in XLT CONDITION - as fine as you'll ever see! ALL SALES FINAL. Give it a good home... ENJOY! NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. US SHIPPING ONLY.
