A nice pair of long service medals both correctly impressed to:

22283864 W.O.CL.2. W. P. LAWRENCE, RA. (on the Efficiency Medal), &

MAJOR W . P. LAWRENCE ACF (on the Cadet Forces Medal).

From basic internet research in the London Gazette, he was appointed as 2nd Lieutenant in The City of Glasgow Cadet Force on 11th June 1964. Then as Lieutenant 11th June 1966.

He was awarded his Cadet Forces Medal in the London Gazette of 24th February 1976 & awarded an additional Long Service clasp in the Gazette of 31st January 1984.

The Gazette of 19th June 1984 shows that he was serving with the City of Glasgow Cameronians Army Cadet Force.

His retirement from The Cadet Force appears in the London Gazette of 28th March 1989.

I would imagine that this pair is his full entitlement of medals as his serial number on the his Efficiency Medal is an early 1950’s number so he will not have any WW2 medals.

Both medals are in very good condition.
