I have seen Longwy in markets in France and even there, the price is respectably high. You can make me an offer here, like in a market. Longwy resembles Chinese cloisonné style in its intricate and stunningly beautiful designs.Very collectible.
I began collecting Longwy pieces because of sensational colors, intricacies and pure, masterful pottery.

• This Longwy bowl large approx 10.5\" diameter; decorated in classic Longwy style w/ bright florals + crackle base. Well-marked; excellent condition. A couple of very small flaws to the dark painted rim, they are more like dents than chips; the rest is perfect.

• Longwy in Lorraine, France, began making faience in 1798 + is still operating today. Emaux de Longwy introduced Persian-inspired designs that resembled cloisonne in the 1870s. The designs were impressed into damp clay, outlined in black, + then enamel was added to the depressions. Longwy is also well-known for its early-1900s ware decorated w/ colorful art-deco geometric designs. The number is a design number.
