Up for sale is a beautiful antique Empire Art Silver hand held mirror from an old estate. The mirror was found in a trunk that belonged to a boarder of our grandparents decades ago. Most of the artifacts in the truck were dated around 1905-1915. The mirror measures about 10\" long and about 5 1/2\" across. It has a beveled mirror that has been well preserved and is in remarkabley good condition considering it has to be at least 100 years old. If you like items that have their original look and have been spared harsh cleanings, you are in luck. The handle and scupted back have a wonderfully original patina and honest wear on the high points of the designs, just as one would expect after many years of use. It has the castle-type of hallmark of Empire Art on the side.
