Emt 930st + Emt 139st + Ortofon Rf229 Tonearm For Sale
You are offerdingon an old EMT 930st turntable. Early version with serialnumber 7859. I believe it was made in 1963. It is equipped with the rare EMT 139st stereo tube preamlifier and equalizer. It has an old Ortofon RF229 tonearm mounted that have a EMT TSD15 moving coil cartridge fitted.I bought this player many years ago,in the mid 80s I think,and it hasn't been used since. I did try it out today and let it run for about 5 hours and it works perfect as far as I can tell.I did not hooked it up to an amp though. I dont have the correct cables,just the power cable. It worked perfecly when i put it on the shelf so there should not be any problems. The brake works flawlessly and the lamp for pick-up illumination shines very bright,the powerlamp and strobelamp also works. I would say that this EMT 930st is in excellent condition! Just a few very small chips in the paint. A good clean would'nt hurt though.It originally comes from the Radio Sweden,SR. I have a number of old TTs and this one have never come to use so I have decidedto let it go to new home instead. I have to send it in two separate packages due to its weight,so the aluminium platter will go separately. Swedish postal service will only handle parcels upto 20kg. Please ask questions if something is unclear or if you need additional information.I do take pride in making secure parcels and i will make this Europe 250 US$. Rest of the world 360 US$. (Yes,I agree,it is quite expensive with parcels from Sweden but there is nothing I can do about it. Monopoly...)
