ENCHANTING!! 1920's ART NOUVEAU/DECO "Czech" AMETHYST GLASS Gilt NECKLACE

Offered here is an EXQUISITE example of an antique ART NOUVEAU/DECO "Czech" glass necklace.....most likely CZECH in origin, and estimated to be circa 1920’s.

This is an ENCHANTING antique necklace that boasts a BEAUTIFUL multi-faceted AMETHYST glass jeweled pendant with a cascading drop. The glass jewel is held within a plain bezel and mounted on an open backed Cut-Out FILIGREE frame with FORGET ME NOT Flowers and flowing ART NOUVEAU influenced Overlay LEAVES.......caressing the stone.

The pendant measures 1 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/16th inch tall.....with a BEAUTIFULLY designed bezel-ed glass drop that has FILIGREE on the top. Attached to the sides of the jeweled pendant are EXQUISITE Cut-Out FILIGREE stations that are adorned with faceted and domed MIRRORED Amethyst VAUXHALL glass.....embellished with extensive milgraining throughout for added dimension. The remainder of the chain is comprised of sturdy oval links, and the closure is an old plunger clasp that is original to the piece....closing with a solid click. The metal is GILDED Brass.
