English Rare Stag Sterling Silver Card Case C.1850 No Reserve Collection Must Se For Sale

DESCRIPTION----- . This was completely black when I found this in an estate. After some great cleaning we have this ca.1850 English Solid sterling silver double sided hand chased and blown out stag and Faun card case. This is quite large and has incredible hand chasing and one large buck, a female dear by his side and a faun in the distance. There are gorgeous roses and other designs above this on each side. This was so so well done. You just do not see them like this. A very old piece. Measuring 3 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide and having no closing of tightness. The hallmarks have work off inside the case where the top fits into the bottom piece. Many times this is where the marks were and with use it was easy to completely remove the hallmarks in no time. The pieces that did have marks on the outside were often for show or by very prominant artists. Thick guage silver and having fine weight of 50 grams but worth many times this in rarity. Easily a $300-$500+ example. Tested to be sterling and guaranteed to be very old. . Nice condition. We ship ALL over the world. Thank YOU!!
