A superb modelled English solid sterling silver dog figure. It ishallmarked for London 1992 with the makers marks being those of Mappin & Webb. It has been solid cast and beautifully detailed in the form of a Dashound (Dachshund). It is in superb condition being free from dingssplits distortions and repairs. It measures 2.25 inches (5.8cms) long by over 1 inch tall and is quite heavy weighing 40 grams (not filled i.e. the total silver weight). A superbly made unusual piece.
