Enormous And Beautiful Cassis Madagascariensis Spinella, 12.5 + Inches, W/ Operc:
$898

Up for sale is an exceptional and very large specimen of the Queen Helmet (or Clench's Helmet to be more proper), cassis madagascariensis form spinella. It is really large, over 12.5 inches across the shield, almost 13 inches total. (approx 320mm across the shield, my calipers won't measure something that large). It was collected a couple months ago in the upper Florida Keys by a diver friend who frequently hunts for these beauties -- he told me this is the largest specimen and best overall specimen that he found this year. Exact locality data accompanies this specimen. Very nice dorsum and spire, great color, great shield, some typical growth lines on the backside of the shield. I have included high quality pics so you can see for yourself....photos are straight out of the camera with no post processing, taken w/ flash. Includes operculum. I hate to let it go, but I have to finance my next collecting adventure. Thanks for looking. Please write or call with questions - Mark (843-324-5212)Shipping is free within the continental United States, and actual cost of the buyer's preference for overseas shipping. I will accept returns for any reason for transactions within the US. To date, I have never had an item returned.
