For sale is thisbeautifulMusic Box from Germany. It is an unique art work,hand crafted from wood and hand painted in the Erzgebirge region by the STEINBACH company. The music boxfeaturesa women and a man or boy with a guitar. It seems that she is in the house and he is in the woods and under the stars.

The musical movement is a swissTHORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: \"Mein Vater war ein Wandersmann\". To wind it up, just turn the platform underneath clockwise.There isa working stopper on the side, too. When the music is playing the entire music box is rotating on the platform.

This piece is inexcellent condition,though vintage,the colours are still bright and super shiny. But there is on little red flower stem missing and the flower poton the table is not original.

Comes with original wooden gift box. The box itself is in pretty bad shape, but hopefully you can fix it up a bit.

Dates backto1945 to 1949and is marked with the round, green Steinbach label from that time period and a Thorenssticker.

Itmeasures 7\" tall and about 5 1/2\" wide.

Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
