This sword has an antler hand grip connected to the tang by 2 brass topped studs. One stud is missing. The sword measures 27 1/4 inches or 60 cm from tip to pommel. The blade measures 22 inches or 56 cm long.

The blade is deep measuring 1 1/2 inches or 39 mm at the grip and is 6 mm wide. It is single edged, slightly curved with a long concave blood groove on both sides from tip to grip. This makes the cross section of the blade flat at the top, then concaved and then thicker before tapering back to the cutting edge. The quillon is engraved on both sides with floral work which is more elaborate on one side then the other. The blade is engraved with stars and other mystical devices. This engraving is very worn and is only visible in spots. The blade has some surface rust but is very sharp.
