EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONWAY STEWART No 475 FOUNTAIN PEN IN ROSE PEARL MARBLE.:

This is a Conway Stewart No 475 fountain pen in Rose Pearl marble which dates from the 1930\'s. It has a capped length of 12.9cm and is a lever-filler with gold-plated trim.

The barrel imprint reads \'The Conway Pen. Conway Stewart London. No 475\'. The lever bears the CS logo and the imprint on the Medium nib reads \'Conway Stewart. 14ct Gold 3\'. (The \'3\' is at the end of the nib, now hidden by the section). The cap is the bandless type and the diamond-pointed clip bears the CS logo.

The pen is in lovely condition. There are no cracks, scratches or dings, the barrel imprint is beautifully defined and there is very minimal surface wear. The trim is very good with just a hint of brassing to the clip and the nib is excellent.

I have overhauled the pen and replaced the sac. The lever operation is smooth, the pen fills nicely and writes well.

This is a very attractive, vintage Conway Stewart fountain pen in lovely condition and fully functional. It would enhance any collection and I\'m sure that the buyer will be delighted with it.
