EXCEPTIONAL!! 1920's ART DECO Teal Blue Glass ENAMEL FILIGREE NECKLACE

Offered here is an OUTSTANDING example of an antique ART DECO filigree necklace.....estimated to be circa 1920's.

This is an ENCHANTING antique necklace that is from my Personal Collection....and it boasts a LUSCIOUS multi-faceted Marquis shaped TEAL BLUE glass jewel that is held within four prongs and mounted on an EXQUISITE open backed Pierced FILIGREE frame.

The jeweled pendant measures almost 1 inch wide by 1 1/2 inches tall and it is adorned with PLUMED Glass ENAMELED designs....displaying VIBRANT HUES of Deep Sapphire Blue and Kelly Green. It suspends from an ORNATE Plumed bale.....and the chain is an EXCELLENT mixture of grooved Paper Clip and oval links. The closure is a spring ring clasp that is original to the piece....and fully functional. It is RHODIUM over a base metal.

The necklace is an EXCEPTIONAL piece of jewelry.....SO.O.O.O ART DECO in design.....and it is absolutely GORGEOUS!! The chain measures 15 3/4 inches long....with the Filigree pendant and bale adding another 1 7/8 inches to the length.

This antique necklace is a GORGEOUS Piece that is in NEAR PERFECT condition!! All the enamel is intact and there are no scratches or nicks to be found on the glass jewel. Upon closer inspection there is a small area on the bottom edge of the pendant that has slight Rhodium wear....insignificant and mentioned for accuracy. It has been well loved by ME and stored in an air tight container when not worn. It would be a DELIGHTFUL asset to any vintage/antique jewelry collection.
